Construction
Profile
More Camber, Shorter Rocker
Camber underfoot with shortened rocker lines at tip and tail. Camber loads energy into the ski and releases it explosively through the turn; the shorter rocker keeps entry predictable without sacrificing the snap and precision the Sabr is built around.
Construction
Full-Height Urethane Sidewalls
Double chamfered with steep sidewall angles. Steep sidewalls transmit energy from your boot directly to the edge — zero slop, zero energy lost between input and output.
Core
Poplar Wood
Light for its strength and naturally vibration-absorbent. Poplar gives the ski a lively, responsive feel without the harsh feedback of denser materials.
Base
4001 Race Grade Durasurf Sintered UHMW
1.4mm CNC knife-cut. Sintered bases absorb wax more deeply than extruded and hold it longer — faster on day one and every day after.
Flex
Progressive, Soft-ish Tip to Stiff Underfoot
A soft-ish tip initiates turns more easily and forgives variable snow at speed. Progressive stiffening underfoot keeps the ski powerful and stable where it matters most.
Epoxy
Entropy Super Sap® Bio-Based
28% bio-based content, formulated for high strength and impact resistance. Ellis chose it because it performs — and because making a ski shouldn't cost more than it should.
About This Ski
Edgy, powerful, and lively. The Sabr 100 is built around a 100mm waist and a progressive elliptical sidecut — shorter underfoot, longer at tip and tail — that delivers a surfy, forgiving feel even when you're pushing hard. It holds a line in soft groomers, earns its turns in corn bumps, and doesn't flinch in steep, big mountain terrain. 'Sabr' means patience and perseverance in the face of adversity. The ski lives up to it.
Who This Is For
The aggressive skier who pushes limits across soft groomers, corn bumps, and steep big mountain lines. Equally at home on hardpack and off-piste.
